“I am delighted by how many items I have that I love.

I was surprised by that, in a good way.”

“I’m totally excited to get dressed tomorrow! I can see what I have; I can be creative and mix & match. I can go in there with confidence that whatever I choose, it will fit. I can see what I’m missing. I’m excited to do other areas. I’m delighted by how many items I have that I love. I was surprised by that, in a good way. I am relieved. I’m less overwhelmed by other stressors in my life.”

“Having you here was six times more productive than when I tried to do it on my own. ”

“I can breathe now when I look at my closet, it feels so much better. I tried to do this a month ago, by myself and having you here was six times more productive than when I tried to do it on my own. You asked me really good questions. Once I got the hang of recognizing what sparks joy, I wanted to go even deeper and continue to do more.”

Only a few t-shirts are easily seen

Only a few t-shirts are easily seen

I didn't think I'd be able to fit as much in a drawer as I am able to fit.

I love being able to see all my t-shirts.

My sock drawer drove me crazy. They were all crammed in there.

It makes me so happy now.

“As I held each thing in my hand, I was able to understand what sparked joy and what did not.

I didn't think I'd be able to fit as much in a drawer as I was able to fit. I love being able to see all my t-shirts (in the drawer). This makes me really happy!

My sock drawer drove me crazy. They were all crammed in there. I would open my sock drawer and would only wear the top sox, because I don’t like to dig. My sock drawer makes me so happy now!

When I couldn’t see all my stuff, and I didn’t like how my closet looked, it was chaos and it caused stress, so I would go out and buy more. I was a compulsive shopper, and I used shopping to relieve stress. Now I can see what I have and I like what I have and I don’t have the stress anymore.”

"With you here, it was harder to lie to myself about liking or using something.

It felt good to get rid of so many things that I don’t like and never used.”

“It was really helpful to have you ask clarifying questions, so I could recognize when something sparked joy. Then I could more easily figure it out myself as we continued. With you here, it was harder to lie to myself about liking or using something. I didn’t realize how many things I kept, just because I thought I could use them, but then never did. I don’t know why I was keeping them. It felt good to get rid of so many things that I don’t like and never used.”
